The only VL software deployed at client sites are Server and Office products. In addition, ALL of these systems have OEM versions of Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. I tried once to deploy from images, but in the end it took more time to update drivers, etc. Even some HP systems with the same SKU have had different GPUs or NICs in them, making drivers a nightmare with images. Hardware differences are the biggest concern with images. The majority of deployed workstations are HP with a few Dells here and there. We are a service provider and work with a lot of clients with very different environments. the only issue is making sure appropriate media is owned on client's sites, say if they don't have VLs you're knackered pretty much.Īs for images.
I work with many different customers who have vastly different environments, so using a deployment toolkit is not a good option for me.ītw - getting an image going however light and generalized may actually be worth considering. Note that most of my deployments are not large enough to create a "master" image to deploy on new systems. Has anyone here been able to find a good way to do this? (Even better, I would really like Microsoft NOT to push games out on business systems, but that will never happen). I would REALLY love to be able to push out a GPO to all domain computers to remove these from all computers. We as BUSINESS users and admins, DO NOT WANT our business users to have links on their computers to playing games. I am frankly getting tired of logging in to new computer setups and manually removing all of the Xbox, misc games, and not to mention the pesky and persistent Candy Crush from Windows 10 computers. from Windows 10 Pro systems on a Domain through a GPO policy? Does anyone know of a way to remove all of the "entertainment" and "games" tiles, programs, etc.
